This another part I designed 25 years ago for decks in and out of flight cases, but more recently it has been used by audiophiles more as a way of upgrading signal cables more easily. Plate is 4mm alloy so there is very good at stopping unwanted EMF - radio - wifi signals from disrupting the audio path.
